Life is a train
Having many bogies with different feelings
We human are travelers,
Just to travel through each bogie
To touch the zenith of bliss
And get down at the stairway to heaven.
But the bogies are too long,
Having the same emotions-touching, compassionate but with animosity.
1st bogie comprises only of fear
Teaching us about the difficulties, which are rare.
2nd bogie is made of fury
Shows us how far one can deteriorate its life.
3rd bogie is of odium, (hatred)
Teaching us about different varieties of people
4th bogie is filled with protocol,(manners)
Showing us our way to achieve earnings
5th bogie consists of smiles,
Just to give us a sense of love.
6th bogie with love,
Parting values of rapport.
7th bogie with happiness and sadness,
Just to make our journey complete!
To travel thru these bogies is not easy,
but obviously end upshot is always good
filled with joy and satisfaction!

WHEN I WHINE!
WHEN I WHINE
Today, upon a bus,
I saw a girl with golden hair
and wished I was as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle
She had one leg and wore a crutch
But as she passed, she passed a smile.
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 legs, the world is mine.
I stopped to buy some candy.
The lad who sold it had such charm
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it'd do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me,
"I thank you, you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk with folks like you.
You see," he said, "I'm blind."
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine,
I have 2 eyes, the world is mine.
Later while walking down the street,
I saw a child with eyes of blue.
He stood and watched the others play.
He did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said,
"Why don't you join the others, dear?"
He looked ahead without a word.
And then I knew, he couldn't hear.
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 ears, the world is mine.
With feet to take me where I'd go.
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh God, forgive me when I whine.
I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine.
HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

Checking the Day...
Checking the Day
Edgar Guest
"I had a full day in my purse
When I arose, and now it's gone!
I wonder if I can rehearse
The squandered hours, one by one,
And count the minutes as I do
The pennies and the dimes I've spent.
I've had a day, once bright and new,
But, oh, for what few things it went!
There were twelve hours when I began,
Good hours worth sixty minutes each,
Yet some of them so swiftly ran
I had no time for thought or speech.
Eight of them to my task I gave,
Glad that it did not ask for more.
Part of the day I tried to save,
But now I cannot say what for.
An hour I spent for idle chat,
Gossip and scandal I confess;
No better off am I for that,
Would I had talked a little less.
I watched steel workers bolt a beam,
What time that cost I don't recall.
How very short the minutes seem
When they are spent on trifles small.
Quite empty is my purse to-night
Which held at dawn a twelve-hour day,
For all of it has taken flight—
Part wisely spent, part thrown away.
I did my task and earned its gain,
But checking deeds with what they cost,
Two missing hours I can't explain,
They must be charges as lost.

All We Need...
We go through life fretting about
what we don't have.
We want to be beautiful, and we forget
that the greatest beauty is the
love and warmth in our hearts.
We strive to impress people, but we forget
that the most important people in our lives
are those we love--our family and friends.
We want to be successful, but we forget
that our greatest accomplishments
in life are the lessons we learn
and the lives we touch.
We want to own something exquisite,
but we forget
the majesty of the ocean,
the blazing sunset,
the monarch butterflies in spring,
and the beauty all around us.
We want wealth, but we forget
to be thankful for the riches
we already have, including the
roof over our head and the
bounty on our table each night.
Truly, God knows our needs
and he gave us all we need to be happy.

Sometimes...
Sometimes...even the best of us get stressed out.
Sometimes..we could all use a break.
Sometimes.. laughter can solve the problem.
Sometimes..a light heart can save the day
.Sometimes..a carefree attitude can free the soul.
Sometimes.. a smile can warm the coldest of hearts.
Sometimes.. the right words can change the situation.
Sometimes.. it's just not enough...
Sometimes.. there's nothing you can do.
Sometimes.. you just have to pray.
Always...~ God will listen!! ~
